FAQ’s
What is Speed Friending?
Speed friending with the Seattle Social Club is a quick and easy way to expand your social circle. Whether your personality shines better one on one or in a group setting there's something for everyone. You’ll start the night out with eight 4-minute one on one hangouts before jumping into Community Jenga after a brief intermission.
What is Community Jenga?
Community Jenga is a fun fast paced game where you draw a tile and answer the ice breaker question or perform the activity on the tile. You may be answering what your best hot take is or showing off the last song you played on your phone. Its a fun activity geared towards getting to know eachother.
How do I exchange contact information?
Unlike our Speed Dating events, there is no matching process. Instead participants must hand out their information to others if they want to connect with another participant after the event.
At the Seattle Social Club, we want exchanging contact information to be a smooth, awkward-less interaction. To this end, we require all participants who want to connect with others to hand out their own information, rather than asking a person for theirs. This skips the awkward interaction of someone being unsure, wanting to say no, or the feelings of rejection! It also allows the person receiving the contact information to easily consent or not to connecting and leaves the ball in their court.
We’ll have contact cards for you to write your contact information on to hand out to participants at the event.
