It can be hard to decide if someone passes the vibe check through dating apps. So we thought, why not have the vibe check in person? Join us for Throwback Thursdays with some old-school-cool Speed Dating!

Speed dating is an efficient and fun way to meet and connect with lots of great potential partners through a series of brief dates. You will have three minutes to get to know each of your dates. After three minutes, you’ll move onto your next date. After all your dates have concluded, we’ll have an hour-long mingle session where you can interact with all the participants.
At the end of the night, you’ll fill out a sheet with your top three dates and submit to the hosts. If there are mutual matches, we’ll connect you two. If there are none, then you can try again at the next speed dating event!

Due to the popularity of the event, we’ve decided to charge a minor fee to cover event costs. 10$ allows us to pay for day of event expenses and supports us in throwing other larger events for the Seattle Singles Community.

The Seattle Social Club caters to Seattle singles that are ages 24-40. You can expect your dates to be somewhere in this range.

Speed dating is one of our most popular events! To make sure everyone has a good experience, we ask that those interested fill out the following application form here.
Once the application deadline closes, we then comb through the applicants and notify those accepted! If you’re accepted, you’ll receive an Eventbrite link to your registered email where you can RSVP and pay the entry fee.
If you weren’t selected this round, you will automatically be added to our waitlist. If space opens up we’ll let you know and you can register through Eventbrite.
Please note, you will need to reapply for every new speed dating event. We do carry over applications, so feel free to reuse your responses.

Our speed dating events generally last around three hours with a brief intermission in the middle. We always conclude the night with an hour of mingling at the end so you can learn more about your dates before making your choices.
